Title: Senior Scientist

Department: Research and Development

Location: Summit, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and perform CAR-NK process development.
• Identify and resolve problems in the CAR-NK manufacturing process.
• Develop pipeline processes and facilitate early and pivotal stage enabling workstreams.
• Develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Develop and implement analytical tests.
• Provide effective leadership through leading, mentoring, and training team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams both inside and outside the company.
• Manage external CROs and CDMOs.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Immunology, Cell biology, or closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of industrial experience with T-cell and/or NK-cell process development or manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of cell therapy process technologies.
• Ability to build, manage and mentor a high performing team of scientists.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to execute complicated experiments and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, diversified environment.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency, desire to achieve, and flexibility.
